Unifying super middle. And a shot at Chad Dawson somewhers down the line if hes still available. There are a myriad of things Ward could accomplish greater then beating a hype job.

The underlined isn't the truth, it's your opinion. Andrade should've been champion in many people's minds going in to their rematch, and while the win over Andrade was good, Ward shut Kessler out just like Kessler shut out Andrade. Bute did well in stopping Andrade, but Bute's win does not diminish what Ward did. Ward was kicking Kessler's ass long before Kessler caused the first butt.

Bute is now 1-1 against Andrade, as expected...

The poll is 10-1. The 1 was obviously you. So again, how does it feel to fail again? What was the worse fail for you? Chad Dawson dominating Adamek. Pascal dominating Diaconu, Ward dominating Kessler or this thread?

Beting the guy classed as the best in ur division is an achievement.
I don't think ward can unify & I don't think he beats Dawson either but we'll see.

By this logic, then, it can never be asserted that Kessler's loss to Ward hurts Calzaghe's resume and his win over Kessler.

    Calzaghe:

    * Dominated an undefeated Kessler; Ward beat a Kessler who was ring rusty and hadn't fought anyone of note since Calzaghe

    * Didn't have to resort to headbutts, bending below Kessler's waist or elbows.

Ward beat Calzaghe's ring-rusty leftover. Cleanly and clearly, no cuts caused by headbutts and a much sharper Kessler.

No, Bute is 2-0, and silenced his critics by flooring a so-called iron chinned man, and then stopping him with a body shot just like Shane did Margarito lol... Shane hurt AM to the body though out the fight, floored him, and then finished him-only he finished AM with head shots lol.

I don't feel the same way. The only thing that changed for me is Bute's standing. If Kessler had struggled with Andrade I might agree with you, but it's the performance that counts - knockouts are just gravy.

11-1 clown. So. When Diaconu was getting clowned by Pascal. Did you feel worse then you do now?

It's tough, isn't it dawg? Real tough. I think there's an "Andrade's loss hurts Calzaghe's resume" thread you or one of your other aliases started waiting for you.

Ha ha ha -- it's so easy. Too easy.

You're so mad -- don't type your keyboard too hard, mmm kay?

12-1 clown. nobodies taking your side. You're about as lonely now as Kessler was in the 11th round against Ward.

Oh no -- I respect Pascal because he took the fight with Diaconu. And if Dawson fought the way Pascal did, he gets KTFO.

Pascal is my kind of fighter, which I said after the fight. But Dawson ran to Mexico and Suliman because he crapped his pants when he thought again of fighting Diaconu. And he dropped the belt. To fight old men.

Pascal gets respect, just as he did in the loss to Froch. Dawson = not yet.

It's not about taking my side. But you probably know that, right? That's why this thread has you all huffy and puffy.

    LOL! :rofl

People who say Kessler losing to Ward hurts Calzaghe's resume are just plain stupid, and not really fans. Cal beatan undefeated Kessler who owned two world titles at smw. Ward did not have to resort to anything when he beat Kessler, and was not the favorite going into their fight.

The butts happened, and neither man was at fault except when you ask Kessler, and his fans. People did the same thing to Hagler when he fought Mugabi when he lost to Hagler. Critics tried to take credit away from Hagler's win over Mugabi...yet Ring mag lists Hagler's win over Mugabi as one of Hagler's best wins when Ring mag was the real Ring mag back then lol. Fighters have such a different mind set than fans, and to take away credit from Bute or Ward is astonishing to read. Both were good wins for different reasons.

The time you fight a guy counts for a lot. Not every fighter that you beat is going to go on and have a stellar or h.o.f career.
