Its coming soon. Peculiar fight. Cant shake a lingering doubt about Paul for some reason. While I much prefer Butler, I cant pick him with any great confidence to beat McDonnell for several reasons. McDonnell has big physical advantages for a start. Also there is just 'something' missing from Paul - I cant quite put my finger on it. He always seems to leave looking for more from him; feeling that he somehow fails to fully deliver - maybe I'm being unfair but I could see Paul actually losing to McDonnell by decision. He is still my pick but not with any great confidence - and I should be confident, cos after all he is far better than McDonnell. What do ye think?

I think McDonnell beats him everyday of the week to be honest.

Could you explain why? Is it that you rate McDonnell so highly? Or you have no regard for Butler?.....

Butler gets past the jab he could win. That's the issue for me physical advantages in McDonnells favour he is huge at the weight. Put one thing for sure if butler fights the McDonnell who fought solis, butler wins.

Remember butler wanted the fight a few years back and McDonnell didn't.

I think Butler is more skilled, but Jamie Mac is too big and will grind Butler down and win on points or maybe force a late stoppage.

That's exactly it, not sure McDonnell has the power though. Butler more skilled, McDonnell too big. Not sure why butler doesn't go after Haskins, easier fight to make, no BT/sky interference.

Am backing him. It's about timing McDonnell has had one to many fights at the weight should have moved up 12months ago.

He did it against stuey hall, although McDonnell is obviously better than hall at this point I fancy butler to pull it off.

Would you fancy butler more v Haskins?? I do.
