Yafai by TKO at super-fly. Remember Yafai beat him in the amateurs very comftortably

 

Yeah Yafai is a very powerful puncher at that weight.

 

Yafai is a special talent whereas Butler is just a good fighter. Yafai knocks him out.

 

Butler win pnts or late tko in close fight! Both great talents!

That's not a slight on Butler at all though. I just think Yafai has all the tools to go an awful long way.

You've got to have reservations about both though, primarily because of the lack of suitable competition available both domestically and across the continent.

There isn't really a ''European level'' below featherweight. There's probably a handful of genuinely championship class fighters that could compete with British title level opponents, Jamoye being the most obvious one, Evensen was another.... plus the Italian lad who beat Napa and arguably Munroe too, Maladrotta or whatever his name was.

Most of the rest are 8 round level at best, and are dispatched accordingly.

Plus Butler is with the promoter who shall not be named, which is a concern.

 

Butler would edge it on points at this stage imo. But I think Yafai will go on to be the better fighter. I rate Yafai and Cal Smith as the two best youngsters weve got, and I think both will go on to really big things.

I think Yafai wins.

As a boxing fan I would love that fight to happen but I can see them both becoming a world champion soon as there isn't many depth in the division so as a British fan would prefer it to happen then.

 

Am and pro fighting are totally different, look at the result of Michael Roberts V Lee Selby in the amateurs which Roberts won, Do you think it would be the same result now? Not a chance! The same would apply with a Butler and Yafai rematch.

Yafai personally, his body punches are nasty, he's big at the weight too.

 

So Yafai is going to compete at 115 now ? interesting. I think its a bad idea personally there's not a lot of depth in the division domestically or in Europe were as there's a lot of competition at 118 although if you're looking at a fast track to a title its probably a smart move.

Haven't seen enough of Butler to say who wins but they both look like real talents.
