Sexton missed weight by 4 and a half pounds! For a British title eliminator fight still going ahead though, no longer an eliminator!

    :good Thanks for informing us.

I'd expect Butler to win handsomely in this one

4 and a half pounds is a lot of weight in such a low division, that is a disgrace. I still think Paul can win.

Spot on mate its absolutely disgraceful Sexton team would have known 24 hours before the weigh in that Sexton was'nt going to make the weight and like you said in such a low weight division makes it look like Sexton did'nt want the fight :patsch

Hopefully BJS does not pursue any interests in commentary or judging down the line.

Yes the whole team didn't have clue sexton constantly used his head and was holding yet they never mentioned it and had the fight a draw going into the last round comedy bunch ofbfellas they are

2 to Robinson, plus this one to Butler? :huh Or 1 to Robinson, 1 to Bayaar, and this? Or something else?

IMO Paul handled him better than anyone to date - and did so with a man functionally two weight divisions above him leaning on him and grappling with him for ten rounds. :respect to Butler.

Irritated me a little as well how Rawling kept saying it was a small hall classic and comparing it to Appleby / Walsh.

That was a genuinely fantastic fight, where this had a high tempo, but very scrappy action mainly due to Sexton lurching forward and sprawling all over Butler every two seconds (what quality there was mainly came from Butler).

Does Sexton still have a gumshield 10 x bigger than the size of his mouth?

It popped out several times. :-( He was warned at least 3-4.
