Why wasnt it??? So when Butler and ****** offer the fight its ok for Hearn and Yafai to say "NO" but now there 100% ready Butler should say yes. Dont think so, Butler has more wins, more titles and fought better fighters than Yafai at this point.

Hearn was never going to and rightly so put Yafai in with Butler right at the start of his pro career. Butler says he never know he was still British Champ, do not buy that. Butler got badly outclassed at world level last time out and I think lost against Hall too in a tight fight so why is he beyond a high class British fight that some people say? I do not think so, so it appears he is either ducking or his team never wanted fight so never mentioned negotiations so they could say their is no money on fight don't take it, or he would say that for them.

Yafai was offered the fight 18 months ago and refused, does that mean he ducked butler ? Hearn knows Butler won’t fight for that sort of money especially when he’s being paid far more for 10 rounders, if Hearn wants the fight he should make Butler an offer he can’t refuse, because believe me Butler wants this fight.

Do you understand the point of a purse bid?

But he beat Hall your opinion does not count with that one, true found way short against Tete though.

Butler on Twitter saying he doesn't want to fight Yafai as he doesn't want to go back to domestic level. Then next tweet calls out Conlan?!?

I think Butler knows another defeat now would be a huge step backwards and Yafai would be a very tough fight for him.

For what its worth I think Yafai beats him. Mid to late rounds.

Would be a close fight... However, fact is that if either fighter is receiving more for lesser fights, then they'll take that option & rightly so, it's a business... Would u work for tesco for £8 an hour if asda offered £10 to do less work? No.

If Hearn wanted this to happen then he'd have to dig into make it so , with better financial gains... I fully understand purse bids , but so does Hearn & he also understands with Butler rejecting the fight, Yafai fights for a vacant belt & can forever say he did all he could to fight the best.... Sly move in my opinion.
It's simple - these type of fights mean bigger pay days, regardless of the belt on the line.

Regardless how you seen Hall fight it was close and Hall ain't world class and isn't as hood as Yafai do no reason he should fight Yafai. If Butler gets PSID more for 10 rounders it shows his team did not fancy fight as why would they offer less dough for him to fight Yafai in a huge British show than for a 10 rounder?

Interesting interview with Francis ******, they made a other first and Hearn rejected it.

Because Hearn wants it on his terms.. Which is fair enough as a promoter he should do what he can to support his fighter ... But the fact is it was a silly offer (according to butler earning more elsewhere)

I'd imagine the offer made by FW would of been a take it or leave it, because yes the fight sells & would be entertaining but at the same time it's not particularly needed for Butler as let's be honest, he's an ex world champion & has fought for two titles - he doesn't need to fight Yafai to progress ...

Then why didn't they put an acceptable purse bid?
