And winner fights that other underground legend---Kimbo Slice. Then, we could have Joe Savage.

Here's the lowlights package of Ali getting abvsolutely destroyed by Holmes

Notice: no foot movement. No head movement. No speed. No power. No combinations. No activity.

    Ali was running on empty.

This thread is: could Butterbean beat a heavy bag? Yeah, I think he could:

Have you seen Butterbean against Holmes? It's one of the worst fights I've ever seen. Holmes was a grandpa at this point and Butterbean couldn't do anything to him. Butterbean was horrible, he couldn't fight at that level.

That Holmes was much better than Ali in the Holmes fight. He was using his feet, he still had his jab and he had some thud to his punches. Also I have it on good authority from this guy I met, that Butterbean was refused his second breakfast and extra bacon on the first. ladies and gents, that's right: Butterbean was weight drained. :ohno

There are some people around that would vote for Embalmed Ali vs Butterbean. It's how it is.

Was he that much better that he made Butterbean look clueless, but Ali wouldn't be able to compete? I'm not sure I buy that, Holmes looked terrible in that fight as well.

It's easy to look fast and have a jab against Butterbean than to look that way against peak Holmes.

Bean wasn't prime for that fight.

Dude, there was nothing of Ali left. I know its hard to look good against Holmes anyway, but he had nothing in the tank. Only thing he had was toughness and ability to take a beating. You could write a telegram in the time it took Ali to throw a punch by that time.

But Ali brought it on himself because he was delusional enough to think he could compete (and I guess nobody told him otherwise) and crazy enough to talk a mountain of **** about Holmes who is as mean as a rattler at the best of times.

And weight drained. Rumours have it that he was denied entry to the local all you can eat establishment and that Holmes' camp paid off the security at every steakhouse in town to make sure that The Bean couldn't get his 3kg of daily steak nutrition that he needed to compete at the highest level. Another rumour that I just made up has it that they sent salads and vegan meals to his hotel room to play psychological tricks on him. Shameful.

A Bean who cannot maintain his lipid armour is no Bean at all.

A Bean fight with Ali would be an absolute massacre if it were allowed to take place inside a Big 5 Sporting Goods. Putting him in a 12 rounder inside a boxing ring is more than a little out of his element.
