I also wanted to fight Tyson in the 90s, and he didn't fight me.

Because he would have become Butter Refritos in the 1st round. And then all the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't put Butter Bean together again.

Vaughn Bean got 2 shots at the World HW CHAMPIONSHIP.

    VAUGHN BEAN.

He NEVER beat anyone close to McNeeley.

That said, there have been worse. Fergusen, Bennt, etc etc etc.

And we all know BUTTER would butter Vaughn.:lol:

Tyson wanted to part of Butterbean after seeing him brutally KO Bart Gunn at Wrestlemania 15.

butterbean is a striking example of what would happen if a typical k bro gassing fatboy opponent somehow miraculously ended up in 1990.

He would never get anyway near the the top twenty, or in the ring with a decent opponent. and would get destroyed if he ever did in seconds.

but in k bro era this kind of fatboy is rated by klittards as able to beat ali and Louis simply because hes heavier....

It never happened because Butterbean wasn't a very good boxer. That said, Esch-Abbott would have been something to behold back in the day. Believe it or not, this fight actually almost happened recently but it would have been nothing compared to the spectacle of seeing these 2 corn fed grizzly bears pound on each other in the 90s.

oh I think you'll find that the 'superior fatboy' theory as been well exercised here.

I know you are making a joke but Vaughn, Ferguson and Michael Bentt would all have smoked the Bean.

Ferguson of course got that title shot by beating Mercer, albeit an out of shape Mercer. Jesse could be a handful I remember him as a young contender winning the ESPN Heavyweight Tourney. By beating Buster Douglas I remember after the Bowe fight he still as an old man had some solid wins over Pouha on HBO is one I recall. I also remember him rocking the **** out of Larry Holmes during Larry's comeback in a fight on the good old USA Tuesday Night Fights.

On to Michael Bentt, he was an amateur standout one of the best. And as a pro I'm sure you know he took out Tommy Morrison in one round, bouncing him off the canvas three times. That alone should tell you he'd destroy the Bean. He could be chinny so I guess you'd have to give Butter a punchers chance but Bentt had fast hands and threw great combos so the slow plodding bean would really have to get lucky!!

On to Vaughn Bean, the guy went the full 12 with both Holyfield and Moorer in his and close to their primes, again that should be quite enough. V. Bean was a mystery even to us hardcore fans back then, he literally never fought on TV but his record and alignment to Butch Lewis got him his title shots. I remember one of the most recognizable names on Vaughn's pre holy and Moorer list was Kimmuel Odum. And though Odum was a clear opponent even he would have beaten the Butter man..

I have the fight where Mitchell Rose who has very little to no skills destroyed the Bean in two rounds.

I liked the Butter and enjoyed him on the under card of major cards, his opponents were laughably bad and he usually ended matters by a solid hard knockout. But he and Tyson would have been a massacre.

Actually, I wasn't joking. I remember Fergusen beating the 300lb Douglas who wouldnt lift his hands except to swing wildly. I remember Bennt KOing an unprepared Morrison, but Morrison was chinny, always was, as was Bennt, and Douglas won the lottery and never worked out again a day in his life.
Douglas actually said that he envied Butterbean, that he could earn 100K to fight a guy with an even record.
Douglas actually said he was jealous of Butterbeans success. He was jealous that he didnt train and got tossed aside, while Esch, who looks like he didnt train, was being called a King.
Fact is, Esch, like him or not, trained hard for each fight. He took his career very seriously, and had very good stamina for a guy almost 350lbs.
Douglas was a normal sized big man.....not a freak, and Douglas, if he trained like Butter, would have likely beaten Holyfield and continued his reign. He didnt and the rest is history.

As for Vaughn...yeah, connected. A HW punchbag with power. But not like Butter and he never fought a powerful fighter. Holy was a Cper, and Moorer a LHW with notso much power at HW. Vaugns crowning WIN was KOing an unranked 18 yo with a near 500 record at 5-4, Mo Harris who letting himself be fed to every prospect and fringe contender he sparred with.:patsch

Bean did hold his own vs a young Vitali and a younger Dimitrenko, but he was no better than Peter McNealey careerwise. Both lost each time they fought anyone worth a ****.:good

If Morrison was chinny to you then what do you consider Wlad who has/had worse chin?
