This is a fun fight, Joe is obviously a much better fighter, but buttebean has a good chin, hits very hard, and a swarmer like Joe is stylistically on the short end against a slugger like butterbean. Will butter bean george foreman Joe? As cus said its suicide for a swarmer to swarm a slugger.
This is one of the stupidest threads in E.S.B. history. It is an insult to Joe Frazier's memory to even compare him to such a circus act like Butterbean. Butterbean was a bum with a hard punch, that is all. I have met Butterbean and he is a nice guy, but that doesn't mean he could compete with Joe Frazier.
Butterbean- KO 3 Bean's fights didn't last long. Frazier has been known to get knocked down 6 times in two rounds. I don't think it would be a contest.
Butterbean could hit Joe flush five times undefended, and Joe would still K.O him that same round. Side-show versus one of the all-time great champions of the whole wide world. Fifty-year old Holmes ate those shots, what's he gonna do to Frazier?
