He was extreme in many ways. Huge punching power Great chin slow as **** terrible stamina very entertaining not skilled He's someone that casual fans would enjoy watching, but he wasn't a good boxer at all. Great fighter but terrible boxer. A true toughman.
if a guy stands in front of him Butterbean always has a chance, but skillwise he didn't have much skill.
because of his world class stamina, speed and talent? butterbean is funny, but lets not be naive about this.
Very well said, don't see posts on General very often that can be balanced regarding the good and bad. People in general are ****s, and it doesn't get much more concentrated then on here, the nexus/butthole of the universe. Butterbean was always more of an attraction then someone that anyone on the planet hyped. Why anyone would even waste the time punching out a "He's fat lol" post is beyond me. Even the commentators doing his fights routinely were very blunt with the fact that he wasn't a world beater. Anyway, Esch had a few decent/average wins First person to beat Louis Monaco, who was a undersized heavyweight who spoiled his way to wins over an undefeated Kevin McBride, Peter McNeeley and an old Michael Dokes. Worth noting is that Esch absolutely ****ing sparked Monaco. Go check out Vitali against Monaco. Vitali comes nowhere close to sparking Monaco or separating him from his senses. Esch put him in la la land.
I am pretty sure I could jump out of the ring before he gets to me and thus get a nice NC on my already ATG résumé.:deal
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl "Butterbean" was a sideshow act, with a record about as padded as they come. And even some of the stiffs they dug up beat him. Joke doesn't begin to describe what this fraud was all about.
