ok, it turns out boxrec actually has 1170 heavyweights active in its database, but the last 220 are so shitty they lump them all together tied at 951. why they have a top "950" out of 1170 is anyone's guess, seems a waste of time to me, may as well just rank them all the way down or have a top 500 or something.

anyway, not sure if there's any order to the points hierarchy past 950 or if they just arbitrarily list them out, but brandon esch's name is #1082 out of 1170. :yep
