It'll also say a lot about Fury fans if they don't credit AJ should he win in more dominant fashion than Tyson did.

 

If Wlad destroys Joshua Fury gets that much more credit, btu facts are he did look bad against jennings.

Tyson, IMHO, is garbage. Always has been.

AJ is manufactured. From the way he comes across to his choice of opponents.

Wlad is the only legit one out of that lot.

 

Part of me thinks even Matchroom are underrating Wlad based on how much they underrate Fury. I think Wlad will surprise a lot of people in April.

Fingers crossed I'm right and we see a huge performance from Wlad whether he wins or loses. The HW division desperately needs to see a high quality fight in 2017 after what we have been served up in 2016.

Wlad is clearly past it. If you somehow missed that in his last couple of fights then you clearly haven't paid attention.
That said, I still slightly favor him against Joshua this April. Joshua clearly hasn't fought on that level yet, and might be in for a big surprise.

 

I think AJ beasts Wlad in a couple of rounds, Fury took all the fight he had left. Wlad looked terrible against Jennings and Fury. By the time April comes around he has been out of the ring 17 months, while AJ has been active (all be it against cans) Wlad is only here for the payday he is 41 and shot to bits. AJ KO 5.

 

Wlad is past it but AJ is packing glass so I wouldn't rule Wlad sparking him.

 

How do you know AJ is packing glass though, has he been down like Khan, Kirkland, Enzo or RJJ yet? Bold statement to make when Whyte is the only guy to test his chin yet and he handled it well imo.

 

Wlad is 40 so clearly won't be as good as he was a few years ago perfect timing for AJ

By the time Wladimir gets in the ring with AJ it's going to be at least 17 months since the Wlad-Fury fight, (that's Wlad's longest career lay-off by far in his 20 year career), with Wlad enduring two long but aborted training camps in the meantime (due to Fury's shennanigan's) and apparently at least one injury, so I don't see how anyone can begin to assume he's the same measuring stick at 41 years old as he was back in November 2015 at 39.

The magnitude of Fury's win (apart from its undeniable status as an epic upset) should be doubted and questioned based on Wladimir not being remotely prime anyway.
But a 2017 Wladimir is far more of a question mark, there's a huge possibility we're talking about a thoroughly shot fighter by now.
