He needs some significant wins before he supplants Chavez' record and legend in the minds of JCC'S followers. He's come up short against his most skilled opponents. If he can defeat or have great showings against Bivol and Beterbiev and blow out the Charlos and Benevidez's of the world then he can make a case. Phone up Ward and finish him off as well.

Canelo is now in his prime so you can't really compare what he did in his 154 days to what he's doing now.

Its like comparing Tyson Fury now to where he was before the first Chisora fight.

If anyone needs to be watched closely its Canelo with his stacked wraps & sudden powerful punching. I'd lay odds he was never tested against BJS plus they stacked the wraps AGAIN!!

His hands, wraps pads & everything were scrutinised by the lab working for the CSAC & they could not find a damn thing that could be thought of as loading the gloves. Nothing in the least dangerous to his opponent was ever found nor anything that would be an unfair advantage to Tony
At the very worst all that was illegal was a used pad & not a new one which Javier Capetillo admitted he accidently put in Margarito's wrap. This was a technical illegality & was deemed harmless by the lab. Most definately NOT an attempt to load gloves. CSAC Insp Louhis was sat right there watching when the wrap was applied he then passed the wrap & signed off on it. Why wasnt he investigated ?????? Thats if there was any infringement

You should have a butcher's at Sanchez before saying Canelo is better than him. You're embarrassing yourself.

If you rank Sanchez higher than Canelo you must be smoking crack.

Canelo is levels above Sanchez in terms of standing.

Skill wise you can make an argument for Sanchez being better, but as far as overall career, Canelo has surpassed him and it's not even close.
