His wife said she would not support Byrd in any comeback. She's a smart woman.

And I think Byrd is smarter than to box again without her support. She even watched him get his a__ kicked by Wladmir Klitschko in '06, and they thought they could come back.

Unfortunately, Byrd is a shot fighter, which is strange because he wasn't in very many wars. He was a great cardiovascular boxing technician, but it appears after years of hard work and success, his legs and speed are gone. And Chris Byrd without legs and speed, that sounds like, I don't know, a turtle without a shell. He won't have sucess anymore, he's already had a fine career.

I'd say he should retire and enjoy himself.

I never had a problem sleeping after and especially during a Byrd fight (except the Ike fight).

OMG Byrd looked like a zombie in his last fight. I dont think that I have ever seen a fighter more ready to retire.

I imagined that he wasnt ready to call it quits. I dont know what he is going to do , but the first thing he need s is to stop " squaring up" to his opponents ...that is not his style.

God is going to tell him it's over.

If he doesn't listen then Byrd should be forced to watch his last fight fifty times. He just got the snot beat out of him by a marginal fighter.

It's over. Yer Done, Toast. Finito. Washed-up. Nothing left in the tank. Running on empty.

Hang them up! I won't watch him fight ever again and I'm not saying that because I don't like him. I'm saying that because I can't stomach watching another shot fighter who can't see he's shot through and through.
