Byrd not ready to retire just yet

    I was SHOCKED when I saw Byrd in the ring....he is so thin now he looks sick.
    He needs to retire and spend time with his kids. if He keeps getting his ass handed to him with big shots he wont be able to enjoy his life after boxing.

    You had a great carrer Chris. Walk away with your head held high!

    Exactly. Moving up to CW is about his only hope. Like you, I think it's a slim one, but if he insists on continuing, this is what he should do if wants to have even a small chance of being successful.

    CW, yes. He should train and spend some of that hard earned money and rest. Something is telling me he would make a good trainer.

    He needs to retire but if he wants to go 1 more fight he need to move up to Crusier. He was extremely weight drained his last fight.

    It was definitely shorter. I have a question, do you think Tyson (at the same age) would have faired any better against Wladimir K. than Byrd did?
