Wow, I didn't see that coming. I did think it was going to be close. I put down SD in my Kirk's prediction. I just thought Budler would be the nod.
I looked him up on YouTube prior to the fight. Fast, aggressive come-forward fighter with a good ****nal of body attacks. Anyone have a link to the fight. I'm interested in seeing how it panned out. I think he's only fought in Argentina. Reminds me a bit of William Silva in that way. Both unknown fighters, but they look really good beating up their competition.
Uh, they sometimes only look at highlights and judge it through that. You have to watch their fights. I remember someone told me William Silva was a careless fighter when I showed them his highlights. Like not even close to what kind of fighter I saw watching Silva's fights. Sounds like the person who did the preview only saw highlights of his fights.
In fairness sometimes highlights,"fancam" footage and second hand accounts (sometimes via broken translations) are the best we have. I know it seems lazy but some guys are virtual ghosts when it comes to footage, or what footage exists might not be reflective of where a fighter is now in their career.
I know that some Nicaraguan promoters are putting their footage on YouTube,Prodessa and...Buffalo I think, which is great, would love to see more promoters foo that.
