    Round 8

Mangubat is jabbing and sliding his feet backward slowly, then counter hooking off the jab as he quickly breaks into a diagonal when Kang moves in on him, fly-fishing with jabs and rights. Kang not letting up, stepping in and jabbing whenever Mangubat does to disrupt his rhythm, and looking to set up a massive right hand. One gets in, grazing, but has Mangubat scrambling. Kang punching his way in to body and head, persistent. Mangubat lying in wait to ambush, unloading on him and then clinching as needed.

    10-9 Mangubat, close

    78-73 Mangubat

    Round 9

Mangubat is pressured into a corner and drops low to grab Kang around the waist, face level with his navel. Kang is ripping into Mangunat with both hands, to body and head. Kang in total control, bullying Mangubat, drowning him in leather. Mangubat doing all he can weather it and tie up when he sees an opening to grab at his tormentor, but not able to rally any meaningful counteroffensive, nor really trying. A couple of feeble jabs are steamrolled through as Kang works at blistering pace, all power shots up close.

    10-9 Kang

    87-83 Mangubat

    Round 10

Jabs traded at ring center. Mangubat is up on his toes, having found a second wind and the old bounce in his step, up on his toes, spiraling wide out to his left. Kang wants to pick up where the ninth left off with an inside firefight and bores his way in accordingly. Both letting their hands go. Mangubat rocked by a short overhand right, clinching. Tapdasan in with the break as they careen into the ropes while locked in embrace. Kang is smacking either side of Mangubat's face with hooks pressing in. Mangubat distances himself behind a high backfoot jab, stiff but not discouraging Kang. Lead right on the nose by Kang. Shoeshine up top by Mangubat, then one downstairs. Kang muscles in on Mangubat and the latter falls onto the canvas while attempting to clinch. Tapdasan correctly rules it a slip/bump-down. Kang relentlessly pressures in the final ten seconds, ripping body shots.

    10-9 Kang

    96-93 Mangubat

This was a really, really, really good fight, period - but especially for an obscure Sunday morning card. Shout out to Hock for putting this on the radar.

Looking forward to watching this card later tonight. I was awake when the card started but passed out midway through the third fight. Going to avoid reading too much of the rest of the thread so I can avoid spoilers

Only saw him once and i thought he was pretty crude. Granted that was before he was beaten and with this loss isn't likely to get on my radar again anytime soon:lol:

Really entertaining fight, I was pulling for Kang because I liked what I’d seen from him in his previous two bouts (draw with Ashurov, TKO win over Zhang in China) but I actually probably would lean closer towards your score. Some close rounds in the middle though when the tide started to shift towards Kang, so I’m not too opposed to Kang getting the W. They should run it back, I’d definitely watch the rematch
