I never once said anything about *****'s. I don't care about them or what they say. I try not to get involved in *****/******* discussions because it's pointless. Kinda like dealing with you. She put in a horrible scorecard and it wasn't the first time. Pac beat Bradley as well. Yet she judged it differently. She was wrong. Back her all you want, but if you think Canelo/Mayweather was a draw you are either a) ******ed b) mexican or c) you hate Mayweather. I know you fall under A and C. Not so sure about B. And I don't mean to hurl insults but it's just all I can do with you. You make it so easy. So go ahead, make another post about complete nonsense that has nothing to do with me. It's comical reading your responses.
What proves that she's incompetent? All 3 judges had Bradley Pacquiao 115-113. (2 for Bradley, 1 for Pacquiao) The only reason she's being called incompetent now is because Floyd Mayweather didn't win the fight on her Card, and thus it wasn't a unanimous decision. Floyd Mayweather fans are wet their pants when the draw was announced.
most pundits, fans and in betweens had it for pacquiao comfortably. not only that, cj ross has a history of recklessly scoring fights draws. you have an agenda.
I'm not "backing her". I'm just not attacking her like pretty much everyone else. Pac beat Bradley as well? yet she judged it differently? All 3 judges had that fight 115-113. She had the exact same score as Duane Ford!! Is Duane Ford incompetent also?
Probably. A lot of judges are awful and this isn't the first instance where they deserved to be criticized. There's robberies all the time and it's disgusting, not just when Mayweather and Pacquiao fight. And I'm not "attacking" her. But she's an awful judge and she should not be allowed to again.
wouldn't you agree that judging boxing fights is a difficult thing to do? No matter who the judges declare the winner, there's always gunna be someone who thought the other guy should have won. when Ali beat Ken Norton the 3rd time, a lot of the pundits in the press thought Ali looked old and Norton should have got the decision. But the official cards were 8-6, 8-7, and 8-7 for Ali. Probably a lot of people in the press thought Norton won "comfortably". This is nothing new and I for one wish people would stop bitching every time there's a decision. There is no reason why CJ Ross should have been attacked for her scorecards. You might not agree but this is boxing, and scoring is always going to be debated!
I'm not saying it's easy to score a fight, although I thought Mayweather/Canelo was pretty easy to score. But these guys get paid a lot of money for a front row seat to a fight, they better be close. If I can do a better job for free, what's that say about them?
It's such a spam-fest though. Let me explain. Like here, you had people point to the Bradley Pacquiao fight as "proof" that CJ Ross is incompetent, right? But lets be honest. Lets go back to the weeks after that Pacquiao Bradley fight? Wouldn't you admit that there was a split between who people thought won. Sure, a lot of people thought Pacquiao won, but many people also thought Bradley won. I watched a youtube video from some guy that went through round by round and showed how he thought Bradley in fact won. Another thing was, remember before Bradley Pacquiao, Pacquiao was still considered unbeatable. At that time, he was supposed to be the biggest threat to FMJ, and some even considered Pacquiao P4P #1 at that time. (Remember?) Well, the HBO team that night was in love with Pacquiao. Remember the Clottey vs Pacquiao fight? Remember Lampley "bang, bang, bang". The guy had a non-***ual crush on Pacquiao. The HBO team thought Pacquiao was "winning comfortably" because they nearly had an orgasm every time Pacquiao landed a punch. They probably weren't even looking at Bradley at all!! In both of these cases though, one thing is clear: In Both Maywather Canelo and in Bradley Pacquiao, the commentary and press scoring was heavily biased towards the more popular fighter. (Pacquiao at that time and Mayweather this past weekend) In the aftermath of Bradley Pacquiao, people rewatched the fight and many people admitted that Bradley could have won or at least it was a toss up fight. The same thing is happening with Mayweather Canelo. People are going back and watching the fight and saying and realizing that it was a competitive fight. Of course there are people who root hard for Mayweather and will never admit it was close because they have too much pride.
Dude, i understand what your saying, however, how long is the boxing commission going to allow this to continue. How many more talented boxer, need to get robbed from this lack of understanding of our sport.
I thought Mayweather and Pacquiao won each of those fights comfortably. I try not to bring up what people on this site think because a lot of the time it's biased nonsense. So I guess we'll agree to disagree.
Can you answer me these questions please? Help me understand. 1) You said Pacquiao beat Bradley comfortably. Do you realize that All 3 judges had the fight 115-113? 2) Do you admit that a lot of people wanted to see FMJ vs Pacquiao, and they were rooting for Pacquiao to win so we could possibly get that megafight? A lot of people thought that Pacquiao losing that decision hurt chances of FMJ vs Pacquiao. Don't you think that was a factor as to why a lot of people wanted Pacquiao to win? Ironically, Pac wasn't so unbeatable as he got KTFO in his next fight. It just seems to me that when all 3 judges score the fight close, as was the case in Bradley Pacquiao, and you score the fight comfortably for one guy, and so does the majority of the press, you really have to ask yourself, who is right? Actual trained boxing official judges or people in the press who never have to go through the training and tests required to be a boxing judge? Would you trust a doctor or a guy who wasn't a doctor to examine you and prescribe you medication?
