ya'll knew i was gonna make a thread anyways, i love the way he disposed of ryan molitor, or is it bryan...or maybe even ******...either way, who the hell did steve think he was/is trying to come into the scene talking **** about all the 122 pounders :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl , especially when it's filled with talent.... big ups to celestino... but as far as calling out mexicans, did he forget about the BIGGO GIFT HE GOT AGAINST LACIERVA :deal :deal either way, i gotta love what he did yesterday...that's what boxing needs IMO, **** all the "i'll leave it up to my promoter" type of ****.....talk ****, back it up, and hug afterwards :happy :happy :happy i love watching caballero fight and i cant wait to see him in there with marquez, vazquez or the rican kingpin lopez... how do ya'll think he'll do against those 3
Agreed,Caballero is very exciting.I think Marquez and Vazquez take him(if they kept their form) but I'd favor him to take Lopez.
I pretty much think he gives problems to anyone at 122, but I dont see him beating those 3 guys. The Panamanian should enjoy his 15 secs of fame.
you don't gotta be dirty to Molitor like that. He stepped up to the plate. Alot of fighters would have milked their title to death. classless fan
hey, i give him credit for trying to unify, but i'm glad he lost...he came out of no where expecting respect, and honestly, caballero was right on the money yesterday with what he said about him.... not only that, but i dont like cocky *******s that can't back up what they say....
He definitely is an exciting fighter. How sturdy is his chin? One thing he does have is a tremendous height advantage over his colleagues in the division, and he showed he can use a long jab to setup other things. However, it looked as if he has some defensive flaws which may be easily exploited by a good inside fighter like Vasquez. He seems a bit reckless. Also, he is not as technically polished as any of the three you mentioned, but he has the power to turn things around with one punch. In some way he reminds me of a 122lbs version of Edison Miranda. With those things said, I can see all three of him defeating him, but he has a puncher's chance, especially against Rafa IMO.
Why shouldn't he get respect? Lopez would knock him the **** out. He's got world class power, speed and he's technically miles ahead of Caballero, and he's got that southpaw stance. Despite Caballero's reach advantage, his jab is weak and Lopez can probably use his right jab to go over the top, and follow in with straight lefts, and also work the counter right hook around the slow jab. Honestly, I can't begin to imagine how much punishment Caballero would probably take. Marquez has the power and technical skills to knock him out aswell, which is what I would expect him to do. He's still a world class fighter and he's far from shot. I would actually expect Vasquez to have the most trouble out of the three, because Marquez and Lopez are technically better fighters in my honest opinion, and Izzy's defence is very open. He could probably walk through the majority of Caballero's shots however and get on the inside, where Caballero's long arms would make it difficult for him to punch short, as would his awful technique, and break him down with that stinging left hook and good right hand.
hell yeah... he calls out opponents win lose or draw, always gives a hell of a fight and never wants to leave it in the judges hands...never :deal
