it was pretty funny today. Jeff Mayweather, Mickey Bey, Ishe Smith and a few others were trying to get Pelenchin to say something in english for the camera. for once he was shy. but after we pressured him enough, he gave in. pretty funny, even though he said his best stuff right after it. i dont know how to imbed a video but it is on the front page of http://www.celestinocaballero.com basically he tells litzau he is gonna kick his ass Also, sorry about the Judah interview. i had a little emergency come up. but i will get with him next week and do the interview. i saved the questions. i also will be doing interviews with Ishe Smith, Richard Steele, and some other guys here shortly.
Haha just part of the reason Caballero's one of my favorite fighters I have no doubt in my mind Cab will KO Litzau the man's a punching machine and he's look's technically sounder every fight I love watching fighters like him improve and get better with each fight I think after he KO's Litzau that he will only need 1 or 2 more fights before the big names are forced to fight him WAR Caballero I know he wont disappoint send him my best as always I'll be rooting for him.
now that his english is improving it should be interesting to see what he has to say in the future. his defense has improved a lot. also sparring with guys like mickey bey have done wonders.
that was pretty funny. Litzau has no chance and never did so I really don't quite understand why this fight was even made.
it was made because dibella needed to find caballero a fight by a certain date or Pelenchin would have been free to escape his contract. top rank was interested in him. they couldnt get anyone else, so here we are. but that is just my opinion
Really that's interesting. I have to ask why did Celestino sign for this fight if Top Rank where interested because signing with them would obviously get him the major big money fights that he was interested in. Although I'm not a fan of underhand disloyal tactics used in Boxing by fighters, managers, promoters a like for their own gain in this case it is pretty clear it probably would have been in the interest of Celestino to stay inactive and sign up with Top Rank. Shows his warrior spirit he would rather be in the ring then waiting around for a contract to end and I'm glad he didn't because I like Lou, he is one of Boxing's good guys.
Word. Its another overmatched opponent. Why cant we get the good fights?? Also hasnt Litzau been knocked out unconcious against almost eevry top level fighter? Its hard to believe his promoter keeps putting him in with top guys. Guy is going to be ******ed by the end of his career.
i really probably said more than i should on that. i dont really feel that it would be my place to speak on that any more than i did. but i think that should he win this one, the big guys are running out of people to fight so hopefully he can land one of them
jeff mayweather and a couple other people said he is already starting to sound punch drunk. i would agree that we need good fights. hopefully juanma or gamboa can be next
