I posted that to show that Caballero received $175,000 in one fight to disprove your claim that he gets nothing more than $100,000 per fight.

Don't change the issue Bro. Just accept you're wrong.

How much was he offer to face Juanma? I know he got offer 250k for a Gamboa fight, but was unhappy with the amount. My question is how are these fighters like Gamboa and Juanma ducking him, when in reality the fights are not being made not because of them, but because Caballero feels like he is not getting enough for these potential matches. If I had confidence and even if 250k is not great, but alright, wouldn't a win lead me to these other fighters, with bigger purses, bigger name, bigger draw, esp. at the age of 33.

Caballero can't stay busy forever. He's been ducked by fellow champs for 5 years already.

Here's an ESPN article about 5 years ago (yes 5 years ago) discussing about Caballero being an avoided one. That time, boxing people already recognized that Caballero deserved a fight against the top dogs. Izzy Vazquez and Rafa Marquez avoided Caballero like plague. Now JuanMa and Gamboa are doing the same.

It's only champs Somsak and Molitor who were brave enough to give Caballero a shot at their respective hometurf in Thailand and Canada then Caballero mauled both to wrest their respective titles.

I'm not wrong because in that article you posted even the promoter said that wouldve been the biggest purse of each fighters careers and that it was above market value meaning they dont deserve that much... so for you to say that he made 250k for the jordan fight is wrong.. caballero should be happy with whatever juanma gives him and he needs to stop crying like a little biatch

    You're wrong.

You said that Caballero never received a purse of more than $100,000 but in reality Caballero received $175,000 purse in the Molitor fight so CLEARLY you're wrong.

How can you still deny that you're wrong? Why it's very difficult for you to accept that you're wrong?

he was offered that it doesnt mean he got it.. besides even the promoter said he was offering too much to him.. and the point is caballero doesnt sell is not a big draw and his demands are stupid if he really wants to fight the top guys he has to stop asking and just sign the contract and take whatever the give him and be happy with it

So you mean Caballero was offered $175,000 and eventually got $100,000 just to satisfy your claim that Caballero never got a purse of more than $100,000 in any fight?? Not only that you're wrong but you're also funny.:D:lol::rofl Keep entertaining us with your sh!t claims. :D:lol::rofl

As it was already pointed out, there was no offer from JuanMa. Also, Arum broke off negotiations for the Gamboa fight whle they were still in the prelim stages. He then lied and said Caba priced himself out. Gamboa and Caba were actually supposed to fight a couple of years ago. However, Arum gained promotional rights to Gamboa and the idea was scraped. Caba has absolutely no reason to duck JuanMa or Gamboa. Both of those guys have all the reasons in the world to duck Caba. I don't blame those guys for doing so. However, I just think it's messed up that even if you work hard, beat good fighters, and accomplish a lot, it's still not good enough to get you the big fights.

It's funny how some only believe what Caballero team says, but when it comes to other teams they are simply ducking. No one knows what goes on. Caballero is saying they are ducking him, Juanma and Gamboa are saying they would fight him, but he is overpricing himself. We do not know who is lying in reality. I know Vasquez Jr. wants to face him and the real deal Chris John would love to fight any of these guys for a real good price. Give him a call Caballero.

    Enlighten me then Confucius.

    Whats really going on here?

The last I heard Gamboa's team made him an offer of (I believe) $850,000 and he walked away.

Like it or not Caballero is not that big of a name, so $100 mill is out of the question.

Now I wasn't there but I'm pretty sure the reason it's call "negotiations" is because you negotiate how much you want. And Caballero was pricing himself out from what I heard.

Who else is Caballero going to fight?

Chris John? John won't risk it.

JuanMa? He's been "barking up that tree" for how long now?

Vazquez or Marquez? He'd be crucified.

Gamboa's the only name at Featherweight that's even approached him with an offer.

    Unfortunally Cab done screwed himself...
