Caballero has made it known that he wants to unify against Vazquez or Lopez or fight Marquez. With Vazquez out with an injury, that just leaves Marquez and Lopez. Showtime is very interested in broadcasting a Caballero vs. Lopez or Marquez fight. However, neither seem too thrilled with fighting Caballero anytime soon. As a result, it looks like Caballero may be moving up to 126 to fight Gamboa. Caballero's promoter claims to have a deal in principal for the two to meet. This of course hinges on Gamboa winning his next fight as well as a network stepping up and buying the fight. So who do you think takes this fight?

Caballero seemed to throw way to many wide looping punches in his last fight... Gamboa would be all over him if he keeps that up

for a minute I wished that Gamboa was coming down to the 122 lbs division... I would love to see him get decapitated against Lopez in the near future if you ask me...

Gamboa is the opposite of Molitor. Not cautious, not defensive, throws A LOT of punches. He gets KD'ed a lot, but not wobbly or KOed

This is exactly the kind of fight Caballero CANT handle with his longer range.

Down but not hurt. the kid comes back harder and stronger after a knockdown.

    Gamboa is the future.
