Good fight, I was looking foward to the Cloud-Johnson fight more but this is a good replacement. Smart move by Caballero, if he wins then he puts pressure on Lopez and Gamboa to face him. I'm not a huge fan of Caballero but I'm impressed that he's fighting solid fighters to keep the pressure on Gamboa and Lopez and he's not simply trying to talk his way into a fight with them.

stupid caballero just goes to show you that he doesnt know anything about the bussiness of boxing or he has a idiot for a manager. He's taking a fight against a guy that is a lot bigger than him and hits real hard.. i think he loses this fight and his value goes down.. he's close to make a lot of money in a year by fighting juanma or gamboa but he prefers to fight a great prospect for a lot less and nothing to gain from it

    :hat

You may call him stupid, but I think the carajo gots cojones and is just tired of calling out JuanMa and wants to make a statement. It is a fight that doesn't make sense buisnesswise for Caba, but **** all that papa. Caballero fights for his people and to get respect, he just wants to challenge himself against the best. I think Celestino has a good chance at winning this one.

is called being stupid and dumb, this is a bussiness and balls dont win you money.. you show your balls in the ring not in the negotiation table stupid

    :hat

  10. I'm kind of a Caballero hater, but this is a tough fight and I gotta give it to him for taking it. Who else in the world is calling out JuanMa and Gamboa??

hey man, don't be so biased for your countryman. caba is taking this fight because of he wins he becomes a major player at 126lbs. you have to take risks in boxing. what a boring sport this would be if nobody took risks.

I agree. imagine if all boxers had that "Money mentality", we wouldn't get good fights. Escalante wouldn't of fought the tough Roman this passed weekend, for example.

Caballero's been desperate for a decent dance partner for a while now...good for him.
