Im just curious, in what fight did Caballero become the so call most fear in his weight class? Also what were moments or opponents he has face that got everyones attention? Im going to start watching some of his previous fights and see... It seems like his size and recent talking on other fighters is getting his name a little more out there... But I really want to see what you guys suggest/say why hes the best in his weight class and what opponents he has beaten that makes him number 1... Oppose to guys like Gamboa, Rojas, John, or Juanma and other great fighters?
He is known as feared because he has been ducked repeatedly by Bobby. He doesn't want to risk Juanma or Gamboa against him until that fight has "marinated" more.
Caballero was number 1 at 122 where he got 2 belts and where he started calling JuanMa who got 1 belt at 122. Both moved up to 126 now.
Here's an ESPN/MaxBoxing article way back in 2005 where they included Caballero as one of the most avoided boxers. He's still until now. This content is protected
Everybody started paying attention to him after the Molitor fight It's mostly because he's a freak of nature for his weight which is why people talk about him
some time after he made Molitor look like a ****in amateur and had two belts but noone would fight him. But I was impressed from before that. I mean I am from Canada but I laid my money on Caballero when he fought Molitor. And I thought he looked more skilled in his last fight than before. Although he needs to turn his punches a little more.
he's not as good as people make him out to be, right now his biggest claim to fame is making a youtube video to talk about juanma.. lol that's the kind of thing kids and amateurs do but he's desperate for a payday so he did it.. besides being 5"11" his boxing skills are lacking and he slaps his punches and doesnt know how to throw them with power behind them.. his combinations are amateurishs.. he wins fights by staying busy and out working the other guy but he fights small for his height instead of using it to his advantage... his two best victories are molitor and de leon.. other than that his resume is not that inmpressive :hat
