JDS and Fedor beat all there opponents by ko/sub Cain beats Reem by wrestle**** or reems chin (reem is going to get exposed real soon plus cain had a take down on brock why not Reem?) Fedor beats Cigano by slick armbar after getting Brett Rogered for a bit. hmmmm sounds about right lol, i'm a HUGE fan of Cigano but i know in my heart he cant beat Fedor.
reem would k.o JDS, much better standing and I'd bet he'd prob be the better grappler! Cain and JDS is 50/50, reem and Cain another 50/50 cains wrestling against reem striking, fedor depending on how he cums bak is the favourite in all matches but they'd all be close fights
Too hard on that level. Execution is pivotal. Too many factors. If they are fighting the best back to back, something may be exposed along the way etc etc
Fedor has been too inactive and has slowed down since the Pride domination days !!!! , that is a fact , another fact is , Fedor has never faced an opponent like Velasquez or Dos Santos , and lets face it , although Fedor was undoubtidly the best HW in Pride , he did have a few scares , against much lesser fighters than Cain and JDS !!!! Velasquez and Dos Santos are the start of the new HW's , athletes like these guys did not exist in Fedors day , and given that Fedor does more Sambo than MMA these days , i honestly dont like his chances against both of these men !!! Overeem is a top class kick boxer , with very good TD defence , and is brutally strong , as long as a fight stays on the feet , he's winning a fight , but people tend to forget , Overeem is not a new kid on the block , we have seen Overeem get dominated before , and is no stranger to losing himself , hasnt fought an array of live fights since he's been a HW therefore cannot be taken that seriously @HW is you ask me , throwing a novice like Brett Rogers around the cage is seriously **** all to get excited about , regardless of what Frank Shamrock says !!!!
So your telling me a Kick Boxer from Holland , would " probably " be a better grappler than a Brazilian JJ black belt , who's been practicing JJ a ****ing long time !!! :huh :good
You clearly have not been paying attention. Overeem won the Euro ADCC trials. Choked out Vitor Belfort a very compitent bjj Black belt, the only fighter to ever do so and is widly regarded to have one of the best Guillotine chokes in mma. Also Dos Santos is a brown belt who's has never landed a sub against anybody apart from a guy who is 2-7. Facts get them straight. You have been all excited since Cain won.:good
Ppl don't realize just how proficient Overeem is on the ground. He's got years of grappling experience and he even won the European Qualifiers for the ADCC submission tournament. In an MMA fight, I'm willing to bet that Overeem can hold his own against Junior on the ground and will undoubtably and soundly beat him in the striking department. Keep in mind that Overeem has only been submitted once in his entire career and that was at the hands of Werdum (arguably the best BJJ practicioner in MMA right now), and that he has 19 submission wins (at one point, PRIDE even announced him as a "submission grappler). Junior, on the other hand, has not shown any proficiency on the ground (at least in his MMA fights). We know he has a brown belt under the Nogueira brothers but, at the same time, he's gotten submitted by some jouneyman.
Overeem is not a good fight at all for Dos Santos, he likely dominates him wherever the fight takes place. Bigger, stronger, K-1 level striker, ADCC grappler. Can't see any logical way JDS can beat him.
Cain V Fedor - Fedor TKO 2~3 Cain V JDS - 50/50 - JDS TKO2 or Cain TKO4 or UD Cain V Overeem - Overeem by TKO 2 Fedor V JDS - Fedor TKO 2~3 Fedor V Overeem - Fedor TKO3, Sub 4 armlock or SD JDS V Overeem - Overeem TKO2
Hmmmm i stand corrected , i thought Dos Santos was a BB under the Nog bros !!! , where the **** did i pick that up from !!! :huh I was excited about Velasquez long before he battered Lesnar , a fight in which was always going to be a 1 sided beating :deal Velasquez is something different to what we have ever seen in any MMA HW divison , his skill set is unique , and there is not a current HW in MMA who beats him IMO !!! I must say i knew Overeem had a solid ground game , he's very comfortable there for a striker , but didnt know how acomplished a grapper he was ...............
Overeem is peaking late. Rogers is not a bad HW at all and imo in the UFC would be a top 10 ranked HW and Overeem tossed him around like a small child. He was way too big to get down to LHW and now he's let himself fill out as a genuine heavyweight he looks ****ing hard to beat. He can scrap standing with the likes of Hari and is ****ing nasty on the mat. The added strength he has now is insane, I'd need to see him prove it against a top wrestler but I really don't think holding him down and controlling him would be easy. Dunno how Cain has a better skillset really. Overeem is world class on his feet and world class on the ground in specialised areas of both fighting specialist fighters in both. How can you get much better rounded than that?
This is just utter nonsense, unique. He has never been on the ground against a world class BJJ guy. He has never stood with a world class striker. He is a top notch wrestler with above average striking and a great gas tank. To talk of him as unique is falacy. The same with Dos Santos, he has excellent hands, good TDD. But has already been submited and is a brown belt, hardly world class on the floor. Basically Cain is not world class anywhere but in his wrestling and JDS is not world class anywhere but with his hands, not even whole game striking. Overeem is world class in both and Fedor is world class in both. Overeem in particular would give JDS a hiding in a brutal fashion. Cain presents a different challenge, but he is unlikely to be able to take Overeems shots, *Kongo. He also is a fair bit shorter than Overeem Guillotine material. I also just cannot see him being able to stand with Fedor or being able to take Fedor down and control him and not get armbarred at some point. To say they are unique is just not the case.
