Cain Velasquez will get the next title shot

Velasquez is not bad at all, but JDS is probably a stronger fighter.

 

Cain is overrated. I don't get it. Or I'm just wrong , I don't know why people gush over this guy and I can't see how he is though of as the next dominate HW. He couldn't KO Kongo in a full mount g'n'p situation for 3 rounds! And that Rothwell fight shouldn't have been stopped.

 

Because he dominated Rothwell the entire bout and he was beating the **** out of him, maybe it shouldn't have been stopped at that time but Rothwell was taking too much punishment. He showed good recovery after popped by kongo and dominated him the entire fight as well. And of course he showed better hands by ko'ing Nog. I'm not saying he's the next one but he sure has looked good so far.

 

I see JDS Carwin or Lesnar destroying this clown. I put zero stock in beating a half dead Nog. If he did that 5 years ago THEN I'd be impressed but not that version of Nog.

 

Cain for the next shot is cool. He is 8-0, with 7 ko's and 1 beatdown. He is coming off of a good streak vs Kongo, Rothwell and Nog. I think that may put JDS on the backburner again for one more fight which is a ***** for him.

 

Dana just wants all these other guys to get their hands on the belt before JDS gets it, because I don't think Lesnar, Carwin, or Cain will beat him. That way Dana can say they where all champions at one time.

 

It makes sense. Dana doesn't want to cancel out any of these guys by making them fight each other. They will all be around so they will fight each other eventually.

 

Cain Velasquez vs Dos Santos would be great

 

if Carwin loses and fight JDS it will be a great fight that will end in a ko in the first round

 

Dos Santos is gonna eat this dudes soul.

 

i am not certain he's ready. good test would be gonzaga at this point; someone who is good but somewhat of an under achiever.
