Whatever. You've always shown a dislike for European fighters. I'm not most certainly not the only one who's noticed this. If you can't see that Kessler has good handspeed, see that Pavlik has much slower handspeed than Kessler, and see that Mundine isn't a crap fighter, then you shouldn't follow boxing anymore, because that's about as blind and biased as it gets. Watch the ****ing film objectively and you'd realize this. As a matter of fact, thinking of Mundine as crap is downright ignorant and disrespectful. The man has won world titles, competed at a high level in the sport, and won rounds against a unified SMW champion. That's not the definition of a crap fighter. Anybody who says otherwise hasn't fought before, because those who have, are far more respectful.
While I'm on the Toney beats Calzaghe side of the fence, I believe those 2 statments to be true... He CERTAINLY is faster than Pavlik, probably the fastest at SMW. Whether he's crap or not, is a matter of opinion. But then again, I'm one of Mundine's very few fans. So there. EDIT: Sorry, you were saying Kessler is slow. That too, is wrong, imo.
Firstly, I'm from Europe, I'm English for ****s sake. I support fighters on ability...and sometimes even when they lack ability I'll support them anyway if they prove themselves to be true warriors or whatever. I'll throw the point back to you - if you can't see that comparing Kessler, Mundine and Andrade to the topic in hand which concerns James Toney then you're the one that needs to re-watch the films, not me. Your remark about Kessler having good speed and Pavlik not having good speed is incorrect in my opinion, both are similar except Pavlik took on the best at his weight and won, twice. Kessler failed, when he probably should have won.
I've been told this before. But yet you constantly show an extreme dislike for Wladimir, Kessler, and Calzaghe. I'm not the only one whose noticed this.
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl I could of sworn I seen nothing but in and out movement and he tied lacy up at the end of his combos...lol and back out and in again. He didnt circle **** either fight...
The over-rating of Toney continues. When will people see how limited he was? Or will they just continue to make excuses for his losses and **** performances?
I disagree, I wouldn't say that Kessler is faster than Pavlik at all. I never said Kessler was slow (I think) I said he was predictable, and Pavlik isn't. I'm not commenting further on Mundine, as far as I'm concerned the 168 division is a pile of crap, and Mundine is part of that.
Our argument concerned Kessler's handspeed and movement, both of which you have failed to acknowledge, and both of which I believe could give Toney trouble on top of his left jab and ability to keep a distance. Certainly Mundine and Andrade aren't comparable to Toney. They're levels below. But the skills and attributes Kessler showed in these fights lead me to believe he would have some sort of success against Toney. And would I never said I'd take him over Toney. I said it would be an interesting/competitive match, and if I had to make a pick, I'd actually go with James (7-5 with a possible KD in his favor).
Like I care  WALDO...let's not go there. Kessler - failed to beat a vastly over-rated champion. Calzaghe - see above. I won't bother listing the European fighters I've championed in the past, it seems people only notice the ones I don't like.
That's fair, especially his opponents as of late. And I did think you said Kessler was slow in general. In comparison to Pavlik, I'd rate him faster. But I wouldn't call Pavlik "slow"
That is not using constant lateral movement. Nunn and littles moved and jabbed and fought off of the movement not come in and go back out and go to the right. They fought off of the movement. Calzaghe does not do that, it is not his style. He is in and out. In throws fast combos, out and tries to get a few counters.
