Hey man, it may not mean nothing to you, but i agree that Calderon is a warrior, no matter what the result was...The fact that he went to Mexico to face Segura again tells you that he has plenty of huevos.

Not too ballsy when you consider he was getting a nice pay day for it.

The fact remains, when the going got tough, he packed it in.

No carnal..The same **** could be said for Morales in the 3rd Pacquiao fight...you know what i mean...But we know better than that....Calderon gave it his all, but he ultimatley came short...You gotta give him props, Considering his size and lack of punching power....

Why is he pathetic for not taking a sustained beating? There was no way he could win from that position, had he got up (if he even could, body shots can be unbelievably painful) he would have been knocked out by the next clean shot Segura landed.

  8. They got it from watching Chavez quit against Randall.

Although for every Puerto Rican who quit, history shows at least 5 Mexicans who quit.

Morales too likes to quit when he looks up at Pacquaio and says "hey man, you punch hard...Is it OK if I quit now?"

    Is the T.S a ******?

Calderon was completely outsized. Segura had zero respect for Calderon's punching power-as evidenced by his willingness to throw body punches with no regard for defending his head. Aside from heavyweights, this was literally one of the biggest size difference between two fighters on fight night.

Calderon is pathetic? That kind of statement typefies everything that's wrong with some boxing fans.

Seriously - suck a ****ing dick. Preferably as aids-ridden one.

He does have much better skills and talent. For a long time I thought that - and not size- was all that would matter.

Have you seen his recent FOTY candidate against Manuel "Chango" Vargas yet?

That's what changed my mind. :!:

    Size does matter.

Gonzalez has to be able to get guy's respect. Vargas is a very solid journeyman but a level below Segura...and Gonzalez could barely cope with his size & strength.
