I've picked Calderon, but hearing all this talk that "Ivan is 33" and "how old that is for his weight class," and "how much he's slowed down," ect, ect, has definately got me wondering a little bit.
Here are some pics of the press conference in Puerto RIco, obviously Calderon always looks so small http://www.elnuevodia.com/diario/noticia/boxeo/deportes/el_retador_recurre_a_la_guerra_sicologica/449674
Calderon may be past his prime but he has a chance to win this fight, he need to stay focus, He is like Bernard they are old but the guys are still winnings fights both are very defensive, and very intelligent in the ring both know they are old and takes breaks between rounds.
Why the size difference is huge. Cazares came in on fight night weighing as much as a FW **** that weight draining scum.
cazares KO. calderon was taken deep by verde (judges scores were obviously bullit)a couple of years back. calderon has aged since then, in a new weigh class against a pretty good opponent.
It will be very dangerous fight and another factor against Calderon is that in this fight there will be no weight limit for Cazares, in their first fight the contract stated that Cazares can't weight more than 118 the day of the fight. This time there isn't a weight limit so not only Cazares will put more pressure than in the first fight he would weight even more than their last fight. Still i hope Calderon wins.
