No way Plant won but it was a close fight because he won quite a few of the early rounds. 116-112 sounds right.

    There's always one.

Heck of a performance by Resendiiz to carry the final two thirds of the fight and win clear on all reasonable cards. Hurt Plant to the body in the fifth, hurt him to head in the sixth and never really looked back after that.

Felt like he did enough to "pull it off". lol
Looked like a guy who wanted to not fight.
Hats off to Resendiz. He brought the noise.

I just checked the numbers, Plant landed just as many punches vs Canelo, and Benavidez, and threw 130 less tonight than he did vs Benavidez. He is done.

Hazzard's card was pretty much spot on tonight.

It was a good card. One upset. The favorites were fairly entertaining, too.

All of Canelo's wins aging like milk.

Went 12 rounds with Ryder who gets stopped in 9 by Munguia in his next fight then retires.

Went 12 rounds with Munguia who got stopped by a feather fisted Frenchman in his next fight and then needed PEDs to beat him in rematch.

And now Plant loses one sidedly in an upset.

If he beats Hurd, Plant and Charlo ... that would be a sweet run knocking off the old guard.

Man, they really tried to rob Resendiz. There's no way Plant won more than 3 rounds.

I liked the Cuban middleweight and Resendiz.

Nice to see some new names making a move.
