Caleb plant deserves some respect.

Plant held out for the extra millions and got them.
Had he ducked I think his stock would've fallen dramatically.
For sure he was taking a career risk but all fights have that potential.
Turning down the fight would have come with as many consequences as fighting it.
He can set his life up with this payday.

The asking for validation thing is bizarre only unless Plant was whipping him and had him hurt and ultimately stopped him. Then it would be viewed differently.

In reality, he was being insecure while trying to appear confident in some way and got shut down and bammed.
