Now, we’re just looking to move on to what’s next. I don’t want just an easy no-name,” Plant said on “The Good Fight with Kate Abdo.” The former IBF super middleweight champion Plant (21-1, 12 KOs) plans on campaigning again before by the fall season. He didn’t rule out former super middleweight titlist Anthony Dirrell as a potential opponent in a comeback bout. “[The Dirrell fight is] not a done deal yet, but as I said, we’re looking to get the biggest name possible,” said Plant. “Coming off a loss, I might not be able to get the biggest fight out there right off the bat. “I want somebody that is going to push me, and the fans can enjoy, and somebody that this going to give me even more momentum stepping back into the biggest fight I can get after that. “I understand that I’ve got to work my way back. That just comes with the territory, but that’s something I want to do … Just continuing to work on my craft and getting better, and I’m going to be back soon.” The 29-year-old Tennessean also admitted to some kind of an ailment but was coy in offering additional details. “I’ve been letting something heal up, and that’s why I haven’t been back yet,” said Plant. “I want to get back to my winning ways, and then let the world know why I’ve had to take a little more time off. Until then, I want to keep it under wraps.” Plant believes his stock is still high even though he was knocked out in the 11th round against Alvarez. “I feel like I got a lot of momentum coming off the Canelo fight, even though things didn’t go my way. We were disappointed in that, but I felt like I showed the world that I’m right there at the world-class level. It’s not like I went out there and embarrassed myself and got beat up and hadn’t won a round. “It was disappointing because I didn’t come to do good. I came to win. I showed and proved to myself that I’m not scared of anybody. I’m not scared to go out on my shield. I just got clipped late in the fight, and anybody can get clipped. Roy Jones has been clipped, Muhammad Ali has been clipped, and Roberto Duran got clipped. “It’s not like I got clipped by some bum or somebody that nobody knows. It’s by somebody that’s probably going to go down as an all-time great. “I know I’m right there at that level and my team knows I’m right there at that level. I just got caught with a good shot, and I’ve got to bounce back.”
Fair play to the lad he's trying to make a success of his life but the Delusion is off The Charts here lol
I don't know about ATG but this is the attitude he should have after a devastating loss. He shouldn't be seeking out psychedelic drugs to determine if his career should go on.
Hes been smoking that Toad Venum **** with Iron Mike and Joe Rogan that **** make you see all kinds of weird **** in alternative realities.
"I'm pretty good for 21 and 0 huh" you sold out to the ginger devil. You let a cement feet angry ginger plodding con artist walk you down
When a boxer says for himself that he is ATG level. They didn't say that about themselves: Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk, Naoya Inoue,...
