When they fight Benavidez will find himself in over his head. Mark it down. Boxing is a skill of sport and sometimes fighters win fights when they are outgunned. But when you are that outgunned? I don't know, that's hard to do. Plant is just too fast. Benavidez is a good combination puncher, but no way in hell Plant is just going to stand there like grandpa Dirrell and let him tee off on him. Benavidez will look to land on Plant, but Plant will not be there.
I totally agree with this PBC has shown that they would rather marinate these type of fights until it doesn’t happen because someone lost.. But if it happen anytime soon I see this being similar to Martinez vs Chavez minus the 12 and Plant having more power..
I can't wait. This has potential for FTOY. I like both a lot. Plant is more of the technical fighter and thats why I lean towards him to win. Plant by decision. Benavidez is more than compatible of winning. I wonder who the bookies will have as the favorite.
