Its a massive risk but I think he'd have plenty of success there, his recovery and spoiler tactics are effective and he's been getting better at short combinations and controlling his opponents positioning up close.

Im not sure his chin would hold up but it would be fun to see him move up cause 168 is a sinking ship and 175 is a very strong division

Personally I don't see why he would be better at 175; his suspect chin and gas tank will only become bigger liabilities.

It’s never really something I’d want to bank on, but a lot of peoples durability improved when moving up (within reason)…

but as others have mentioned or alluded to, not much for him at 168 now.

It feels like suicide for Plant to move up. Plant already got destroyed by Benavidez and would get even more beat up against AB/Bivol, I think Smith stop Plant also. Not a good career move in my opinion.

No, I'd like to see him whoop on mungia or berlanga. Which will happen.

Plant can't even push back 168 lbers and barely managed to get McCumby out of there. Fighting at 175 is out of the question.

There's still plenty of big fights to make at 168 for Plant, all fights he can win. I think the guys at 175 would be a little too much for him.

Since I despise Caleb Plant and really want to see him get violently knocked the **** out again, I agree.

Considering that Plant was almost knocked out by unheralded and unknown SMW opponent in his most recent fight, I can only imagine how his chin holds up against top LHWs.

He's not durable, and you're asking him to go to a division where the entire top 10 are legit hitters? Like, literally everyone in the top 10 can punch, and he already lost to one of them? Disastrous..........

I'd say Plant vs Mungia and Berlanga would be good fights I'd like to see. But I'd rather see Plant in with Christian Mibilli first though , Classic boxer vs brawler fight.
