Plant was a douchebag for accusing Canelo of being a cheater when everyone and their mother knows about the meat contamination problem in Mexico. Some people try to play dumb and pretend like the meat contamination problem doesn't exist, that's really low IQ though. I lost a lot of respect for Plant to portray such ignorance and accuse Canelo of being a cheater. Further he insulted Eddy Reynoso by blaming him for drug test results of fighters he trains.

Reynoso made it very clear in an interview : "I'm not their nutritionist, I don't give medical advice. I'm the trainer, I teach technique and that's it." For Plant to accuse Canelo of being a cheater and then to accuse his trainer of somehow being responsible for the failed test of Valdez is extremely ignorant and disrespectful. So I think we need to understand that Plant's ignorant accusations towards and Canelo and his team set the stage for what happened at the press conference. It's one thing to joke about how Canelo likes meat like Saunders did, but it's another to play the self-righteousness card like Plant did, like he's the guy that plays by the rules and Canelo's the guy that cheats.

What gets me is how no one has called Plant out for calling Canelo a cheater. Like Michelle in this interview apologized to Plant for calling what he said about Canelo cheating "an accusation". She should have said to Plant "you know there's this thing called meat contamination in Mexico" and stuck to her guns about him making accusations about Canelo and his team.

Attempts to make Canelo the bad guy for pushing Plant, he was simply retaliating for first being accused of being a cheater, second for accusing his trainer of having something to do with failed drug test, and third on top of all of that running his mouth calling Canelo a MFer. Plant didn't show Canelo any respect, and when you poke a Lion with a stick like Plant did to Canelo you're gonna get hurt. Mexicans don't **** around. Plant got what he had coming to him after what he said about Canelo and his team, and then running his mouth.
