Caleb Plant: The Sweet Hands Of Tennessee The Middleweight Hunter Of Ashland City.

Caleb Hunter Plant is a 6'1 23 year old Super Middleweight/Middleweight with a 9-0 8 KO's record. Born in and fighting out of Ashland City, Tennessee, USA. Caleb the 2011 National Golden Gloves Champion at Light Heavyweight and a former International Kickboxing Federation National and World Champion and was an alternate for the 2012 Olympic team, and he fought for the USA Knockouts in the World Series Of Boxing. I haven't seen but a handful of matches of Plant's but from what I've seen I'm fairly impressed, he has an incredibly unorthodox style clearly influenced by his days as a kickboxer. He has a good footwork, fairly slippery defense, a good left jab and check hook, and a brutal straight and overhand right, so not only does he have Sweet Hands they seem to be pretty damn heavy as well. Caleb has had a very turbulent year in 2015 it started out with the tragic death of his 1 and a half year old daughter from an incredibly rare immune system disorder, and his first match back he dedicated to her memory. He's been very active fighting 4 times in the last 5 months usually dispatching his opponents in brutal fashion two of the matches making it to US TV. I hope he isn't pushed too quickly, he's still young and plenty of room for improvement, but Haymon may think he has a hot prospect on his hands (which he may very well have) and shove him in there with a Abraham or Chudinov and get him brutalized. Even if he gets in there with Rubio he might get Lemieux'd.
