Berlanga really isn't anything special, he's just fairly well known. Plant will outbox him and win pretty much every round.
That would require him actually landing clean a ton on Plant, which I don't think he's capable of, since his skillset is almost nonexistent. Rolls, Quigley and Angulo soundly outboxing him, doesn't bode well for his chances against Plant, also his power is overrated.
I like Plant by a mile. Plant only lost to Canelo and Benavidez. I don’t get why so many on this forum diss the guy. He has really good skills. Berlanga is very overrated on here.
Plant hasn't fought in more than a year since taking a brutal beating vs. Benavidez. Does he even want to fight, or is he just keeping his name out there? At his best, Plant would have the edge on Berlanga.
Why is it that berlanga is so crude? He's been around the amateur ranks before lol. Perhaps he bit somebody if I remember correctly. But Caleb literally has "sweet hands" I like this match up
I would like to see this fight. If Berlanga can win, especially by ko, then it might legitimize his possible shot at Canelo.
