Qouldnt be too sure as I dont think we know if plant has more gears to go up and is a little bigger but I'd have to go for Charlo just knowing he can beat half sense opposition. So as of now I'd slightly favour jermall
Unfortunately, I feel like Plant is fighting exclusively bums and no-hopers from here on out. He's waiting on Clenelo and there's just no public demand for that fight. He's not taking Charlo or Benavidez anytime soon, probably never.
Charlo has trouble with slick fighters, like Korobov and Plant is bigger, faster and slicker so it could be a tough one for him. That said, both guys need to step up level of competition because it’s hard to really tell how good they are until I see them in there with good opponents. I like this matchup and would definitely watch it. Not PPV unless the undercard is good but I’d watch these guys fight on free TV. Battle of the neck tats!
Slick southpaws. The only struggles he’s had in his career has been against counterpunching southpaws. (Trout and Korobov) That’s why he’s not to keen on fighting Andrade even though I think he would win. I actually think Charlo would come in bigger than Plant at 168.
Charlo is young and still improving. This would be a good fight for him. Andrade as well. That guy frustrates me because he’s totally blowing his prime.
Plant is good enough defensively not to get stopped, but he spends too much time on the retreat and loses 8-4.

Plant in a close fight if he doesn't hit the canvas which i think he could because Charlo throws some unorthodox punches he might not see.
