Caleb Plant vs Jermall Charlo

The same Charlo that got slapped by said Plant....... Why wouldn't we be interested. There's history there. They should have been fought, but I'm down to see it next month.

 

I think I'm one of both twins only consistent fans on this forum.....................He's fought 2 times in 5 years and he's had an abundance of out the ring issues. He dominated JBenavidez, but Jose is a WW, let's be honest. And Plant as much as I personally don't like him is a sharpshooter. Big Twin was clear and away the better twin and was a legitimate specimen. Outside the ring life may have ruined him.

I would not favor Jermall if they fought at the end of the year.

 

Cornflake is riding a 9 fight win streak since getting blasted out by Lara. He should be able to give Charlo a little bit of work.

 

Plant needs to get with Riyadh Season.

 

Charlo will be 35 in May, and hasn't fought since 2023,and only 2 other fights in the last 5 years, couple that with his mental problems and it's almost impossible to see how he wins this. The tune up in May should provide a small window into what's left provided it's not a licensed cab driver for an opponent.

 

He needs all of the cab drivers he can get considering the DWI.

 

I wouldn't favor Charlo if they fought at anytime of the year. Plant is a much better opponent than anyone he's faced, and his last showing vs a flat foot ack of power hitting Jose Benavidez doesn't tell me he has the dog in him to keep Plant off him.

 

Plant is signed with PBC.... He would have a hard time getting with Riyadh Season being that PBC is only recently being open to co-existing with Top Rank.

Ummm. Ok. I guess you thought this was a cool thing to say.

As for the rest of us who understand that there are a lot of fighters signed to PBC which means they need him to do the best job he can so that they can feed their families feel he should make a better decision for the business which is to align with Prince Turki so that more options are available for the fights.

Simply saying what you said doesn't help the situation, nor the conversation.
