    I must have been there with you.I didn't know anything about this fight and Cotto is my favourite fighter!
    I hope this fight lands at the Gardens but Barclay's is not a bad venue either.As long as the fight is in New York-I am there!:good

    Really? :lol: Cotto started calling it for months back. Their camps have been in prolonged talks and both parties want to make it happen. It will likely go to purse bid soon and Don King will likely get it.

    Oh,God help us if King wins a purse bid-it will be doomed to failure and no tv network really wants to deal with King.Hopefully,Cotto will allow GB to negotiate on his behalf,despite Cotto having his own promo company.:good

    Yeah, hopefully.

    Some rink-a-dink $29.99 off-brand PPV set in Bayamon with a horrible undercard (with say a rusty Jonathan Oquendo vs. a tomato can for a co-feature) would be as much a disaster as King running the show.

    Plus interesting bits like the Yaegashi and Yamanaka double header and then HW fights like Thompson/Price II, Chisora/Scott, and Wilder/Liakhovich.

    July pretty much sucks. August is a very high quality month, by the way...
