Yeah, I was picking Holyfield up until last week until I decided to go with my head and say Ibragimov by clear UD. He really should retire, but he wont.

Holyfield has been finished for 7 years at least, maybe more. He is an ESPN fighter at the very most.

I'm surprised as well, And the people on here should have some boxing knowledge. They saw vicories into Tomato cans and thought it would translate into a title.

Zakman thinks he has everything figured out, but he has been dead ****ing wrong.

Sam Peter is not a walking destroyer, with an idestuctible chin. Peter's ass is lucky he survived Mccline after 3 knock downs, and his power is overrated!

The Holyfield fight was a total joke, he landed like 3 punches, didnt he Zack? I have heard **** for ****ing months now, about what Holyfield was going to do Zack , look how poorly he fought.

It was because he was fighting the weakest title holder in Ibragimov.

Even Maskaev beats Ibragimov, but there's always the chance that Iggy could win a boring ass UD

he may not have been overly dominate but in his last 2 fights he's hardly lost a round and I see him doing the same thing to a slower Maskaev.

I was saying all along that Holyfield would win 3 rounds at most. I think people put too much emphasis on Sultans fight with Ray Austin, he simply had a bad night. Holyfield is still strong despite his age but he is slow. Byrd and Toney had a field day with Holyfield, so it was obvious that Sultan would box his ears off. Holyfield would do much better against a slow brawler like Sam Peter.

I honestly thought there was a slight chance of Holy catching him with a couple of good shots and starching Iggy. Holyfield really has been done for quite sometime now. We'll probably see him on ESPN 3 or 4 more times and he'll get another shot because he is still Oldyfield.

To me that says a lot about holy's intelligence.

Plus: #1 Boxing still seems the only thing in his life, even at his age. Not working as a promoter, comentator. Er even a whole other thing..

#2 His wife is a docter...

The only one who seems to believe in him is himself.

It sounds and is very strange and stupid though if you think that someone is able to suspend him from fighting. If that is what he wants. Another man deciding for another man what to do dates from 3000 years ago. If that really is what he wants who are we to stop him? Then he can say ''hey this is my own life!''
It's good that other people care about him but he would probabaly feel like hell and gets depressed if they take away the only thing you are good at right?

These comments are interesting and can ONLY come from NON fighters.

You say he is Done and is a ESPN fighter at best. That's fine, but do you even realize how many young, hungry fighters out there will have THEIR SHINING moment when they FINALLY fight on ESPN????

By the way, how many fights do you have on ESPN and what is your record? By the way you write it seems to me you must be a top ten guy at least, right. Good for you, keep it up. Let me know when your next fight is.
