I don't think he's capable of being humbled.

C'mon, guy - I've hardly been hyping Evander like he was gonna walk in and destroy Ibragimov! What I said was that Ibragimov had looked pretty mediocre overall, and that he had struggled with Ray Austin should raise questions about whether he would beat Holyfield as easily as some suggested.

I also said that the big question here was whether Holyfield had enough left to beat Ibragimov. Clearly, he didn't. But that doesn't mean that there weren't reasonable justifications for thinking, going into the fight, that he might.

You picked Holyfield and have been talking **** for months about about Sultan.

Mr. Chin expert , your boy was nearly " strached early " by Mccline, LMAO.

If you define "talking ****" as saying Ibragimov isn't all that good, well then, yeah - and I STILL think he isn't that good.

The jury's still out on Peter's chin. Sure, he got knocked down, and ALMOST stopped - but he got up and WON the fight.

I gave up on Holy after he lost to James Toney. He's one of my all time favorite HW's. He needs to retire :yep

That I did, and I was wrong. Sometimes things don't play out the way you expect in boxing.

Doesn't mean Peter doesn't hit hard, or that he can't have success in the division. Boxing fans are too quick to judge off of one fight. Let's see what happens before we throw Peter in the shitter, ok?

Maybe I'm wrong - that's always a risk you take in predicting the future - but I still think Peter can accomplish something in this game.

I cannot beleive what I am reading . That is all you do, then you expect people to kiss your ass when a fighter loses that you predicted to be "exposed" . Every fighter that ever gets knocked down you question their chin. Had Sultan lost (like you thought), you would expect to be worshiped because you in advance said he was overrated.

What do you define as that good? Iggy has a belt and is a top 5, at worst top 10 HW in the world. While it may not be very exciting, he's fighting smart for a small HW.

Just like the "glass" jawed Wlad did to your "destroyer"

Btw, have you rethought your ranking of LL as 3rd best 90s HW? :nut

Idiot literally means a person of profound mental ******ation having a mental age below three years and generally being unable to learn connected speech or guard against common dangers. The term belongs to a classification system no longer in use and is now considered offensive.

Therefore, I do not feel affected by someone who is offending other Forum members, neither am I going to apply the same term to BoxingGuru but I would to the likes of Mike Tyson. If he is sick, why doesn't BoxingGuru just leave the Forum... That is the greatest joke of all, he posts to express his mental sickness, so why not lobotomize himself or drown himself in heavy medication?

Holyfield is one of the only heavywieghts that commands PPV anymore, and now hes probably gone and heavywieght boxing continues to fall further in the hole.

Holyfield should retire. He should have retired years ago. He isnt even that good at what he does anymore, and there is no shame in that, he is 44 years old. Hang them up. He will never win another belt again. His only hope to win another belt would be to land that one shot.

But by the time he gets to the point of another title shot, he will be another few years older, and by then that one shot probably wont even be that good anymore, either.

I don't give two shits whether people "kiss my ass" or not - I call fights as I see 'em, and let the chips fall where they may. Some fans who are nuthuggers of particular fighters get upset with this, but I tell it like I see it, period. And anytime you make bold predictions, you run the risk of being wrong. If you think I care one bit whether I get some wrong, you're kidding yourself. After 30 years of following this sport, I fully expect it! The idea is to get more right than wrong, which I do.:yep
