I envisage Khan aging MAB on the spot, but I also envisage MAB landing a good 'un.

    Khan retires MAB!

MAB wanted the fight, not exactly a big travesty. I hope Khan pummels the Mexican legend.

If MAB can get to the 4th or 5th rounds then it'll get very interesting. I just think Warren must have heard something about MAB on the boxing grapevine and figure he's on his way out and now would be a good time for Khan to get a decent name on his record.

Nope, thats the beauty of this fight. If Khan wins it'll just mean that Barerra was old, fat and shot.;)

Sorry to butt in, but I would say we would all agree that it depends on the manner of the victory. If he beats the "obvious" shell of Barrera he won't get that much respect from me. If the fight is competitive and Marco looks semi-competent in there then mucho praise for Senor Khan if he pulls it off.

Thats right Gaz all Legends must retire and never fight again after their defining fights...for the real fans you know...

Marco you cannot fight Amir if he wins you are shot and ****, no way could he beat you at your best son guvnor

There's some bollocks spoke around here, it's a sport where people pit their fighting skills, strength, stamina and nous' against each other.

No one knows when they're **** until they get beat

Khan's greatness already far exeeds whatever Barrera has done in the past.

That's the real problem for Khan.

Unless Barrera has his moments, looks okay, hurts Khan and then Khan dramatically comes back to win he's going to struggle to come out with much credit.

If he blows Barrera away or completely dominates he's facing a shot version, theres no way it happens in his prime, or anywhere near his prime.

    If he loses...well...ridicule. Again.

No need Gaz , i was agreeing with you.

That argument is rolled out far too often on these boards when really they are Professionals earning a living and should be allowed to pursue what ever route they like at whatever stage of their career they are at.

Amir Khan should not be giving hand outs to faded Mexicant's. He needs bigger tests but they all seem to avoid him.
