I think its up to MAB when and on what terms he retires but if he loses to Kahn early then I'd like to see him hang them up. A lot of the time not being able to make the same weight you could in your late 20's is your bodies way of trying to tell you something and that something isn't to go and fight in a higher weight division.....

i think you lot are being unfair on khan. is barrera had been put into khans position as a prospect he would have taken it. i dont really find khan arrogant, certainly not copmpared to other fighters.

my mate contacted khans team to get an interview with him for his disertation, about how boxing can help change bad behaviour in kids, khan personally responded and answered 10 questions by email. not one word answers full on paragraphs. he built a gym in bolton cost him half a million of his own money

 

Yep Jeff you got it all wrong, Barrera is very middle class, which is partly reason why Morales hated him. You make me ****ing sick just because he beat your boy.

 

Khan is British. I have to be patriotic. If he wins it would be great for British boxing. He'd become known again and get in the papers. Plus Khan might be able to fufil his potential because he does have alot of talent, he just needs to be smarter as a pro.

Let's be fair, these are exceptional circumstances, would Brits necessarily feel the same if Khan was fighting Morales or DLH?

MAB is loved all over the world, including GB. If MAB was fighting Hatton or Witter, alot of Brits would want to see MAB do well also.

If Khan wins in style and is gracious, he'll win alot more British fans. Thus far, he's been a bit of a ****.
