    Regarding the topic of the thread, Cotto doesn't need GG . He can wait for May to beat PAC and do that rematch later this year. Floyd is an easier fight than GGG for Cotto

    Good points.

    Cotto wouldnt have to do 50/50 with GGG like he would vs Canelo.

    Both would be favored to KO him at 160, but he takes a bigger share of the pie vs GGG and IF he were to win, even by TD, that win alone would catapult him into top 3 p4p, and would force the May/Pac winner into at minimum a 60/40 split for his MW title at 155 CW.:think

    Mora is a very negative fighter and wouldnt do well on a PPV, probably wouldnt be approved except as an UC fight.

    As for Rios......maybe, but like you said...the whole weight thing. Bradley actually had power when he was fighting at MW in the AMs. Would not be a HORRIBLE defense considering Timmy is still a top 20 p4p.

    Vanes would steamroll Cotto. Not gonna happen. :huh

    oh they will, the younger son is already doing 10 times better then his dad in only a year. now if Cotto fights GGG in June then he passed up his voulentary defense which would be awesome.

    Seems like things are lining up for this one. Neither guy has anyone else of consequence to fight and GGG would certainly face Cotto in NYC around that PR day parade weekend that Cotto likes to fight on.

    I just have this feeling that team Cotto will try and pull some catchweight B.S., probably demand a 157 limit.

    just put it in context. stiverene didnt throw because he couldnt get past the jab, thats his problem. he still a good fighter.

    2nd how can you say the man doesnt have the stones to fight GGG or a middle weight?? what shows you that hes scared to fight anybody. He's fought everyone in his era that was good bro. so thats a BS stament.

    who says hes trying to fight Bradley?? Cotto has said nothing! thats like you and all these other fools were like "floys is trying to fight Cotto again" WHEN FLOYD DIDNT SAY A DAMN THING!!

    So they will ask for 155. Point being: This fight can easily get done but Team Cotto will demand audacious concessions.
