And it's because of the styles make fights axiom. I just feel Wilder won't be stationary enough for AJ to apply his fight stopping combinations. Sure a straight right or two might sneak in, but Wilder is too awkwardly evasive. And he's got that right; and it's gonna land eventually. Also, AJ has a propensity to push the action, to make it entertaining. That will play into Wilder's hands I feel, especially if he wanes in stamina whilst trying to hunt Wilder down- he will make a mistake on account of his fatigue and Wilder has displayed his ability to get that big right landing in any circumstance. Big, awkwardly fast and powerful would beat big, slowish and powerful on the day IMO. Cheers

Not crazy but Joshua is faster, has a longer reach, better jab, is stronger, equally as skilled and hits harder than Ortiz.

Wilder is getting shut off in 5-6 rounds. And if Parker wins (I Hope) then Joseph UD’s Wilder.

Lots of dudes think Wilder KOs AJ, its a fair opinion.

I disagree, i think AJs firepower is a lil more accurate than Wilders.

Regardless, we will see what happens with AJ vs Parker first.

Its not crazy at all if I was betting I would make Wilder a favourite.

Simply because Wilder always lands that right and when he does there is no one who can take the power. Its a bladdering power level he has.

So he can lose every round of the fight and just find that sweet shot and its all over.

Wilder is also faster than AJ and more athletic. AJs bulk and muscle is slowing him down and going to be a hindrance in a fight against Wilder. Of course AJ is the better boxer, but most of Wilders opponents are better boxers than him.

I had Ortiz 98-92 after 9 rounds. But he gets caught on a counter in the 10th and its good night Vienna.

Joshua is a lot slower than Wilder

One of the main advantages Wilder carries over AJ is speed and agility. AJ has slowed himself down by going down the body builder route, trying to look good for the cameras by putting on muscle.

Wilders superior speed and athleticism is how is able to always land the big punch against superior boxers.

If Joshua fights smart he will come in with his hands up giving a feint and only shoot jabs and 1-2's

Wilder has a chance in every fight but Ortiz did nothing tonight that AJ can't do a lot better and what he did do was so close to being enough

Wilder was a lot faster than old man ortiz but speed wasnt really a huge factor was it.

Speed was a factor in the 10th. When Ortiz was throwing and got countered he was too slow to get out the way, and Wilder was too quick for him.

Same thing will happen to AJ.

So Wilder losing size and going for speed is proving to be a good move- because its enhancing on his strengths.

I was comparing Joshua to Ortiz there.

And in hand speed... nah. Joshua isn’t “a lot slower than Wilder”

What fight did you watch last night. The one I saw, saw a Wilder out boxed by a shorter man who barely threw a meaningful punch for most rounds. Wilder was right in front of Ortiz for long periods where was the so called movement you're talking about?

Sure Wilder could run, but if he does he'll lose rounds and allow Joshua to fight at his pace which means he won't gas like in the Takam and Breazeale fights where he controlled the pace. Wilder will need to mount some kind of offence if he is to test Joshua's stamina and that means being aggressive, not just running and looking to survive until Joshua somehow gasses.

Wilder does have a punchers chance but it's far more likely Joshua gets to him first and when he does Joshua will finish him unlike Ortiz who's inability to go through the gears saw him allow a badly hurt Wilder to survive the 8th round and then recover.

What evidence do you have that AJ hits harder than Ortiz?

    Too slow or too gassed?

You seen him in the corner before that round he looked absoloutley ****ed and that wasn't due to wilder who hadnt landed on him for several rounds it was due to his angina kicking in.

Being light is good vs fat short old men like ortiz and stiverne we will see how it plays out when joshua comes in at 240lb which btw his speed and stamina has always been fine at.

Joshua will not come in at 255 vs wilder he will be 235-240

Going by what I’ve seen and heard in the impact of his shots. The way he’s moved guys as well.

It’s not concrete evidence but my opinion.
