well I like how things actually are oppose to how they "could have been" I mean what if Collazo never got knocked down vs Ricky Hatton, or actually won the last 2 rounds vs Berto.
He left the ring with his head held high on both occasions. Did he WIN though ? I though he had the fights in his grasp but failed to sustain it at times. So NO.
Collazo is a solid fighter, nothing special. His biggest accomplishments continue to be losses, that's not a good thing. I scored the Berto fight for Berto, 7-5. Collazo gave away too many rounds and relied too much on shoeshine punches, while Berto was landing all the solid punches. Collazo is pretty much a gatekeeper. He will give up and coming fighters tough fights, but he doesn't have what it takes to compete at an elite level.
