Who do you want to see Smith Jr. Fight?

He has a bout scheduled for October 30th against little known mandatory challenger Umar Salamov. We will see how that goes. Joe will be favored which is a role reversal from years ago where he was consistently a heavy underdog.

And for what its worth I think Joe Smith is the embodiment of the true American spirit. A real tough, humble guy, both inside and outside of the ring. A real FIGHTER if there ever was one.

I think Zurdo stands out as the matchup that makes the most sense, Beterbiev is also an obvious choice.

I’m not a fan of his, but he can start by stopping the Beterbiev duck or rematching Vlasov.

He ducked Beterbiev in favour of softer challenge. That's no fighter. That's someone who knows he is heading towards the guillotine with Beterbiev and it's wise to get some easy pay days first.

Zurdo or Vlasov rematch would be my preference. I think a fight with Badou Jack would be a fun fight. I know most think Jack is past his prime but I think the two of them would be a hell of a fun fight if Jack can still make 175.

@UniversalPart I'm a big Beterbiev fan myself,. But your fanboyism of him is just creepy af. You're like a ****ing stalker replying to every single post about him on the whole site. It's weird as hell how some Afghan-British guy living in the child grooming capital of Keighley Yorkshire is so ****ing interested in this Russian under the radar beast.

I wouldn’t say he exactly ducked as they were heading for a unification before Eddie Hearn started talking up a multimillion dollar offer to fight Danny Jacobs. Either Bob Arum is gonna have to offer him more to fight Beterbiev or the fights not happening.

Joe Smith Jr, Bivol and Beterbiev need to sort unification fights.

In terms of entertainment I’d say smith jr vs beterbiev.

not sure he beats beterbiev but it’ll be fun while it lasts

    Beterbiev, Bivol, Vlasov or Zurdo

I wouldnt hate a Canelo fight either but think there are better fights out there for both of them
