Calling all Pac Fans That Hate Excuses for Barrera and Morrales

u wont get much logic with those guys.

 

I dont think EM was too bad for the 2nd fight, Pac's power just caught up with him. The 3rd fight it was fairly clear Morales was drained/shot. Barrera wasnt out of prime, but Pac was a no name then and i think MAB took him lightly. Not saying MAB would have won had he prepared properly, but it would have been more competitive.

You can't fault Pac though, even though these guys are not in their prime they are still the best in the 130 division i think.

 

EVERYONE uses Morales being shot as an excuse to his losses, while the cut that was caused by a headbutt is barely ever heard of, even though the fight still ended up within 1 round.

Also a bad camp is just about the worst excuse you can use. I mean that was a prime Barrera fighting a very green Pacquiao and he got demolished.

By the way i don't hate the excuses for Barrera and Morales but I hate the double standards. The gloves meant nothing, but Morales was shot in the second fight? Anything to take credit away from Pac. In the end Pacquiao proved that he is a better fighter

 

THe headbutt in all honesty did Manny more good than bad in that fight, he began to fight harder after the cut, BTW EM gets credit yes but he only won that fight because of the gloves that is the truth.

 

EM won becuase he and Arum snuck the Winnings brand gloves in the contract taking advantage of a stupid promoter manager that Manny had at the time (Murad)

 

If Manny had a stupid promoter, that is Manny's fault.

 

To an extent yes, and during the training camp for that fight they were trying to get out of the contract with Murad, I was there during this time and let me tell you Murad had people going to the gym ****ing with Freddy, just to be a ass, he had people there basicly to keep an eye on Manny to make sure he didnt sign with Finkel or Shaw or any other promoter they really were trying to bully this kid going into this fight.

He did have alot of distractions going on, heading into this fight they did not find out about the gloves until days before the fight, that would throw any fighter off, Winnings gloves suck they really do unless you have hand problems but at the end of the day yes part of its Mannys fault for having a **** bag promoter, but then again is it really? people in this sport are snakes they act like they care about you and your future but they dont and suddenly how people change when big money gets involved

 

You always say that fighters have a different perspective. I don't fight, so I won't argue that. But RJJ doing the commentary on that fight when Merchant and Lampley are talking about the gloves says that the gloves will have very little impact. He should still be able to generate his power through technique. Jones said that, not me.

And if distractions are an excuse for Manny....and I think they are valid to a degree, then they are valid for MAB before his fight with Pacman.

 

I dont ever recall Jones using Winnings brand gloves, do yourself a favor go out and buy a pair of both and try them both out you will see and feel that the Reyes gloves do have more impact on them, while the winnings brand is a cushioned type of impact, they do less damage this is the truth.
what the **** would Roy Jones know about those gloves he has never fought with them

 

He did fight smart no doubt, but give Manny his reyes gloves and see if Eriks body holds up with the same performance manny had that night, i bet it doesnt. I bet those same shots break Erik down by the 10th round comes along.
