Its hard to see a path to victory fot Plant.

 

Whilst I would love to see that come to pass, I see no evidence to suggest it will.

Plant struggled against an old and shopworn Truax, it's hard to see what Sweet Hand's paths to victory are.

So far I see no evidence that has the pop to get Canelo's respect and cause him not to set his feet for those chopping hooks, nor the engine to push Canelo hard for all 12 3 mins.

Canelo TKO in the mid rounds with Plant failing to keep the body shots from breaking him down.

 

Lets not forget, kov was pretty much shutting him out on short notice.

 

a washed up shell of Kovalev at that. Dude almost got KO'd by a bodybuilder in Yarde in his prior fight. Clenelo cant beat any elite LHW who's in their prime, that fight was clear proof of it.

Hes got a chance, if he sticks to a gameplan of using his boxing ability fighting behind his jab. If he gets drawn into a macho battle trying to prove to the world hes tougher than Canelo, he will get knocked out.

 

I think an effective jab is the key. A shorter Golovkin popped Canelo up all night with the jab. Plus, CA is fighting different. His last couple of fights he's just moving forward with very little head movement waiting to counter.
