Cannot be khan in september.. he has ramadan in july, a whole month of fasting. He can't train. Can't be alexander (injured hand).

khan vs alexander december - winner = floyd vs .... may

as for sept wouldn't suprise me if floyd takes on garcia or matthyse

Khan is in no position to dictate if Floyd presents an offer he will take it knowing damn well that Floyd has other options.

if Khan declines the fight and winds up facing someone else waiting for another offer to come around he risk blowing the entire payday Khan is beatable another loss pushes his **** in even further leaving him with nothing at all.

I am confident he will take the offer once presented.

 

It will be the winner of Maidana/Lopez only fight they could sell, if Maidana wins they will say hes the guy who destroyed Ortiz and is a new beast at 147, the Alexander fight wont do good numbers, cant be Khan because he just looked terrible

 

I don't think they can wait that long without announcing.

 

My single pick would have to be Danny Garcia with an outside chance of Alexander.

Ideally it would be Alvarez, but I don't think that happens this year.

Come to think on it, the smart money might actually be on Paulie, via gift decision. All he'd have to do is dance around for 12 rounds, and he actually does have great defensive moves.

I realize the fight isn't in Brooklyn, but I'm sure Floyd has a lot of control over the entire Showtime setup. If they give this one to Paulie, he'll make a sweeeeet little lamb for Floyd in September.

Either one will be a go the winner will get Floyd at 147, both of them beat Ortiz, and it is a marketable selling point from there.


But from my sources, they are internally rooting for Josesito Lopez to take it....He will bring out all the Chicanos from Southern California especially when they put out there his story. I would like to see it be Lopez, because I wanna fellow chicano get paid so he can provide well for himself and his family.

Maidana already has alot of star power back home in Argentina...He will be okay either way.. This is a cross roads fight for Josesito.

The only way this sells more than Floyd vs. (insert prominent Latino) is if the fight is in NYC, and Madison Square Garden or the Barclays.
